Forsyth Pair Heading to Federal Court

Two Forsyth Township residents arrested in an UPSET drug bust earlier this month will go to trial in federal court in July. Leanna Lynn Horton and Christopher Wayne Brow have a jury trial in U.S. District Court in Marquette on July 14th. They also have an initial pretrial conference set for June 17th. Horton and Brow are accused of multiple meth-related charges, including conspiracy to manufacture meth and attempted manufacturing of meth. The pair also face one 2011 count for possession or distribution of psuedoephedrine with knowledge that it would be used to make a controlled substance. Each charge is punishable by up to 20 years in prison if found guilty.
