Ford F-150 Recalls

Ford Motor Company is expanding its recall of 2014 F-150 trucks for an electronic power-assist steering gear issue. The recall, which now covers 5,675 2014 Ford F-150 trucks worldwide, including 4,629 in the United States, is due to steering gears that may have a motor-position sensor magnet that was incorrectly installed by a supplier. The automaker urged owners not to drive the trucks until they are repaired. Ford says the defect may lead to impaired steering, including the loss of steering control, which could increase the risk of a crash. No accidents or injuries have been attributed to the problem.
