The Folk and Food Festival will take place in its new location tomorrow, the Copper Country Mall.
The event runs from 10:00am to 5:00pm and features live music, a variety of food choices and vendors from across the area.
This is a fundraiser for Don’t Do It Yourself, which helps residents of Houghton and Keweenaw counties who face financial challenges brought on by medical situations.
DDIY Board Member Jack Ham says this year’s event will be bigger and better than last year.
Music performances include the Polka Kings, Ron Lahti, Adrienne Hillman, Acoustically Challenged, and Tom Katalin with Bob Hiltunen.
Food will be provided by Habaneros Fresh Mexican Kitchen, the Library Restaurant and Brew Pub, and Brownstone Hall.
The entry fee is three dollars per person or six dollars per family.
