A new local organization held its first fundraiser this past weekend. Don’t Do It Yourself, better know as DDIY, hosted the Folk and Food Fest at Dee Stadium on Saturday. Vendors were set up around the room with different arts and craft from all over the Copper Country. President Kristina Coon says the idea for the event come from different fundraisers in the community. Attendees were also treated to some great music like Ron Lahti and Adrian Hill. All funds collected at the event help support members of the community who need help with unexpected medical bills.
