Flu Claims Three More Lives in Michigan

According to the state Department of Community Health, the flu is being blamed for three more deaths in Michigan. An infant from the central part of the state had already died from the flu. According to health officials at the University of Michigan Hospital, the strain of flu that is turning out to be so deadly is the H1N1. U of M Hospital currently has about a dozen adults and children on life support because of the H1N1 strain of the flu. All of those patients were previously healthy, but none of them had the flu shot.
