Five Bicyclists Killed In Hit & Run Accident

Five bicyclists are dead in a hit-and-run accident in Kalamazoo County, four others are seriously injured.

The Kalamazoo County Prosecutor Jeff Getting says a blue pickup truck crashed into the group riding in Cooper Township last night.

Prosecutor Getting says police were getting phone calls about the 50-year-old suspect’s driving for a half hour before the incident.

That driver allegedly took off from the scene on foot, but is now in custody.

It was less than six months ago when Jason Dalton allegedly shot and killed six people while driving for Uber.
