This June Finlandia University is launching the inaugural Summer Bridge Program, a seven-credit highly discounted and structured program designed to help students bridge the gap from high school to college.
“Research tells us that summer programs, like our new Summer Bridge Program, set students up for academic success by easing them in to college,” Director of Student Life and Summer Bridge Program Director Erin Barnett said. “Our program is unique in that it will offer seven hours of academic credit through integrated curriculum while allowing them to adjust to residence hall living and life in the Upper Peninsula.”
The program will run for six weeks beginning in late June and ending in early August. It is discounted by 56 percent, and is open to all students heading into their freshman year at the university.
To register for this program students will need to work with the Finlandia University Admissions Office.
