Memorial Day services are planned throughout the Copper Country this weekend.
The American Legion Post 444 in Baraga will be presenting services Sunday at 10am in Herman Cemetery, then at 10:45 in the Pequaming Cemetery, 11:15 in the Aura Cemetery and then at 1:45 in the Skanee Cemetery.
On Monday, services by the American Legion Post 186 get started at 8:00am in Hancock at the intersection between the Church of the Resurrection and Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and will move to the Houghton County Marina and the Veterans’ Park in Houghton.
Other services are planned from Copper Harbor to Covington.
