Local filmmaker and former Michigan Tech Professor Joe Kirkish will be honored Saturday afternoon when he is presented with the City Light award in recognition of his works in the film industry.
The festival begins at 7:30 this evening and continues until satirday evening with most events free to the public.Tickets are available at the Michigan Tech Central Ticketing Office, or at the door one hour before the festival begins.
