Feeding America West Michigan arrives to Ontonagon at noon

Feeding America delivers the last truck for 2024 today to Ontonagon County. Throughout the year Copper Shores and Feeding America West Michigan have worked together to bring a mobile food pantry to residents in Ontonagon. The partnership started several years ago as Copper Shores sought ways to fight food insecurity in Ontonagon County. The Mobile food pantry has since delivered a semi-truck full of distribution boxes several times a year. The semi-truck will arrive at the Ontonagon village fire hall at noon. The fire hall is located at 315 River Street in Ontonagon. Those picking up a a box from the pantry do not need to show identification or proof of need, Feeding America does however ask for basic contact information. Those interested in learning more about the Ontoangon mobile food pantry can find more details here.
