Fate Of Marijuana Legislation Could Be Decided Today

The sponsor of legislation to regulate the medical marijuana industry in Michigan says there is enough support in the state senate to pass the package today.

Supporters say the new laws would legalize the possession and use of smoking-alternative forms of medical marijuana.

In addition, the new laws would set up a statewide database to track the production, sale and transport of medical marijuana as well as allow for the licensure and regulation of medical marijuana provisioning centers.
