Hundreds of companies will be on hand for the first of two annual career fairs today on the campus of Michigan Tech.
The Fall Career Fair takes place from noon to 5pm at the Student Development Complex.
Representatives from a record 370 companies will be there to interview students for potential, employment, co-op and intern positions.
University President Glenn Mroz says Career FEST, which has been an ongoing festival that gives students and industry leaders the opportunity to interact in a more relaxed environment, came out of the growing interest in Tech’s Career Fairs.
Interaction between recruiters and students is becoming easier–and leave it to former Tech students to make it high tech.
The Spring Career Fair is held in February.
