How long have people really lived in Michigan?
Cranbrook Institute of Science Curator and Geologist John Zawiskie says possibly much longer than originally thought.
Zawiskie says an expert is in town to study the Institute’s eight Mastadon bones from southeast Michigan.
Her name is Dr. Eileen Johnson.
Zawiskie says the Institute’s mastadon bones have similar markings indicating they may have been hunted by humans.
