“Eucharistic Miracles” Display Coming to Copper Country

A special display of miracles recognized by the Catholic Church as being associated with the sacrament of holy communion is coming to the Copper Country. Local Knights of Columbus Councils are bringing in the exhibition, called “The Eucharistic Miracles of the World.”  Spokesman Jay Czerniak says 152 individual miracles are represented…

So these happen all the way back in history to the 1200s all the way up to modern day, and it really shows a little bit of the background and the history of each miracle, and a little bit of the story, and just what it meant to the community.

Photos and historical descriptions cover all sorts of situations that have been investigated by the Vatican…

Some of them are as simple as the Host being dropped in the snow in the middle of winter and then finding it, fully intact in the spring. In Argentina, there was a case of a miracle having literal blood tissue form in the Host, and having scientists analyze this in the lab and seeing that its actually from the center of the heart.

“The Eucharistic Miracles of the World” will be set up tomorrow (Thursday, March 31st) from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm at the Van Pelt and Opie Library at Michigan Tech, Friday (April 1st) from 8:00 am until midnight at St. Albert the Great Church, and Saturday (April 2nd) from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at St. Joseph Church in Lake Linden.
