Escanaba Police Search for Burglar

Police in Escanaba are searching for a suspect who tried to break into a credit union Friday afternoon. The United Federal Credit Union had closed for the day, but there was still an employee on the premises. A few minutes before 6:00, that employee called 9-1-1 to report that a man with a gun was trying to force his way in. The man was not able to enter, and drove off in a dark-colored, older model GMC Acadia SUV. He’s described as being 6’2” tall, and was wearing black jeans, and black jacket and a black mask.
