Environmental groups are adding their two cents to discussion of who should be next to run the state’s Department of Environmental Quality.
The agency has been at the center of the Flint water crisis discussion, as has the EPA.
Lisa Wozniak with the Michigan League for Conservation Voters says they won’t name names but she will say they want someone who has an environmental and public health background to help get the agency back on track.
Keith Creagh is currently the interim director of the DEQ.
He came to the agency from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
