Emery Back in Court

The woman accused of two separate home invasion incidents in Houghton and Hancock will be back in court today. 25-year-old Amelia Emery will appear in Houghton County Circuit Court today on two counts of first-degree home invasion. The charges stem from an incident in Houghton at an apartment complex on Portage Street in late November of last year. She was also allegedly involved in a separate incident in Hancock on Quincy Street as well. Emery is currently lodged in the Houghton County jail. Her bond is set at $50,000.
