No Statewide Ballot Proposals Tuesday

For the first time in more than a half-century, Michiganders won’t be voting Election Day on a statewide ballot proposal, something that hasn’t happened since voters approved the current state Constitution in 1963.

According to the Detroit News, Presidential elections, which typically attract large numbers of voters, have included at least 50 statewide ballot proposals over the past 13 cycles.
