The Superior Watershed Partnership has developed a simplified format for distribution of the findings of their monthly monitoring of the Eagle Mine in Marquette County. Since early 2013 the organization has provided monitoring data to the public through the independent Community Environmental Monitoring Program. The agency will now produce simplified monthly summaries of program related activities, any key findings, and outreach events. Each summary will highlight monitoring activities and results for the mine, Humboldt mill and the transportation route. The monitoring includes air quality, groundwater, surface water, wildlife, plants, and more.
