Driver Who Killed Kalamazoo Bicyclists Reported On Drugs At Time Of Crash

The Kalamazoo County Prosecutor has filed charges of driving while intoxicated against the man accused of killing five bicyclists in Kalamazoo.

Jeff Getting says Charles Picket was under the influence of drugs when he crashed into the group of bicyclists on June 7th.

Four people were injured. Picket has already been charged with five counts of second degree murder.

Getting says the community is trying to heal.
