One person is injured after a rollover crash early Thursday morning.
The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office says 51-year-old Michael Hocking, a resident of M-203, was headed northbound on that road around 4:30am.
About 500 yards north of Highpoint Road, authorities say Hocking crossed the southbound lane, went down an embankment and struck a tree.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle. His condition has not been reported.
The accident remains under investigation but the Sheriff’s Office says he wasn’t wearing his seatbelt and that alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.
