A downstate woman accused of shooting into the take-out window of a McDonald’s restaurant in Grand Rapids is going to prison.
Shaneka Torres was sentenced Tuesday to three to seven years in prison and was ordered to stay away from McDonald’s restaurants. She was also ordered to pay $1,500 in restitution for damage caused during the shooting.
In February 2014, Torres was arrested after shooting at the McDonald’s drive-thru window after employees at the restaurant had failed to put bacon on her burger.
No on was injured in the shooting.
Torres was convicted last month of shooting at an occupied building and felony use of a firearm.
