DPS Funding Bill Passes And Head To Snyder

With no support from Democrats in the state Senate, funding legislation for Detroit Public Schools was adopted Wednesday night by Republicans. Here’s House Speaker Kevin Cotter.

The legislation calls for a $617 million rescue plan. It now heads to Governor Rick Snyder for his signature.
