A group of Michigan Democrats will be in Philadelphia today as the Democratic National Convention kicks off.
U.S. Senator Gary Peters is expected to speak at the convention Wednesday afternoon.
Flint Mayor Karen Weaver and former Governor Jennifer Granholm are also expected to be on stage.
Michigan has 148 democratic delegates led by party chair Brandon Dillon.
Three polls by Lansing-based EPIC-MRA, taken before the conventions started, had Hillary Clinton with a slight edge.
