Delta County Airport Closed

Until further notice, all inbound and outbound commercial flights are cancelled at the Delta County Airport. It’s because of malfunctioning FAA weather equipment. Airport staff in Escanaba say federal rules forbid anyone to work on the equipment other than FAA employees. The equipment will be inspected this morning. Airport staff members say they expect to be informed tomorrow by the FAA how long the repairs will take.
