Debbie Dingell to Run for Husband’s Seat

Debbie Dingell is non-committal but a Democratic party official says she will seek the U.S. House seat currently held by her husband, who on Monday announced plans to retire. She is one of Michigan’s longtime representatives on the Democratic National Committee and a former president of the General Motors Foundation. The 60-year-old Dingell is expected to make a formal announcement about her run on Friday.
