December 31st is the final day to apply for one of the 2017 Pure Michigan Hunt licenses. Each year, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources selects three applicants at random to be the Pure Michigan Hunt winners. The prize package includes licenses for elk, bear, spring and fall turkey, antlerless deer, and first pick at a managed waterfowl hunt area. In addition, each winner receives donated prizes such as crossbows, rifles, guided hunts, Go-Pro cameras and much more. For the first time, next year’s winners will be able to transfer one or all of their licenses to another eligible hunter. Applications cost $5.00 each, and can be purchased anywhere hunting licenses are sold. You may buy as many entries as you like. You may also enter online, and see a complete list of prizes here.
