Critical Need For Blood Donations

The U.P. Regional Blood Center, a service of U.P. Health System, is experiencing a critical blood need for O-positive, A-negative, O-negative and B-positive blood types.

Donations are being accepted locally at their Hancock location in the Quincy Center.

Monday & Tuesday 9:00-5:00
Wednesday 8:30-4:00
Thursday & Friday 8:30-1:00

To donate, all you need to be is healthy, hydrated, be 17 years of age or older, and weigh at least 110 pounds.

They ask that you do eat within two hours prior to donating.

Also, be sure to bring a picture ID with you.

If you have not donated in the last 8 weeks and are well and healthy, please consider donating the gift of life.
