With less than two months to go until the general elections, campaigning has begun in Houghton County for the District 3 seat on the Board of Commissioners.
Incumbent Tony Pintar says he believes he’s done a good job so far and should be allowed to continue.
The challenger, Mark Kemppainen, spoke about how he would like to the see the county run if he were to be voted in.
The other contested race will see Democrat Rick Kasprzak opposing Republican Eugene Londo in District 1.
