CopperDog 150 Activities Planned

CopperDog 150 LogoPlans are well underway for the 2017 CopperDog 150 dogsled race. Kids can ride a dogsled for free Saturday at Agassiz Park in Calumet. Musher Tom Bauer will provide the rides between 1:00 and 3:00. The first 100 kids will receive free photo keepsakes. Refreshments will be available, including custom “Spirit of the Trail” CopperDog 150 coffee from Keweenaw Coffee Works. Official CopperDog 150 merchandise and Spirit of the Trail Coffee will be available for purchase. Tonight, organizers of the Eagle Harbor checkpoint will hold a chili bar fundraiser at the Eagle Harbor Inn. Stop by between 4:00 and 7:00. Adults pay $10.00, and kids pay $5.00. This year’s CopperDog 150 will be held March 3rd through 5th. We will provide full weekend coverage on 97.7 The Wolf.
