Two school districts in the Copper Country will get the renovations they need.
Bond Proposals for both the Stanton Township Public Schools and the Ewen-Trout Creek Consolidated School District passed yesterday.
The E.B Holman School in Stanton Township will be able to get some major upgrades and an expansion of the school with the passing of their $3.4 million bond proposal.
Residents in the township will see an average increase of 3.44 mills.
The measure passed 239 to 189.
The $4.49 million bond for the Ewen-Trout Creek schools means they can fix their roof, get new buses and make other improvements that will make the facility more energy efficient.
Voters approved the proposal on a 348 to 333 vote.
The operating millage for the Elm River Township School District was also approved by a 39 to 7 margin.
