Being able to speak in public with confidence is one of the skills a good leader needs.
But it doesn’t always come naturally.
Copper Country Toastmasters is a club that works together to encourage each other to perform better when in the spotlight.
Group Vice-President of Public Relations Tyler Mace says this is a skill that can benefit most anybody.
Mace says through a supportive environment, participants learn to be more comfortable speaking in front of the group.
Copper Country Toastmasters meets tonight at 7pm at U.P. Health System—Portage in Hancock.
Their meetings are open to the public and there is no obligation to join.
