Copper Country Community Band Schedule Announced

The Copper Country Community Band has announced its summer concert schedule. The band will present free concerts at 7:00 each Tuesday night in July at the bandshell at Ray Kestner Waterfront Park. Additional performances will take place on August 3rd at the Keweenaw Heritage Center at St. Anne’s Church, and August 13th the Daniell Park in Laurium. MTU band director Michael Christianson will conduct the group again this summer. Houghton High School band director Kelly Fontaine will serve as assistant conductor. If you play a band instrument, you’re invited to join. Rehearsals will be held each remaining Tuesday in June at 7:00 at the band room at the Rozsa Center.
