Constitutional Amendment Would Require Warrants For Electronic Data

Michigan voters may have a constitutional amendment to vote on come November.

The state House has approved a proposal for the ballot which would require law enforcement to get a search warrant for electronic data.

State Representative Jim Runestad of White Lake says the bill passed 107-to-1.
