Congressman Speaks On Michigan Native Being Held In Iran

A congressman from Michigan says the United State must toe the line between the give and take of negotiations and giving in to what Iran wants as the two hash out a nuclear agreement.

In that discussion too is the fate of Amir Hekmati, a Flint high school grad who’s being held prisoner in Iran.

Congressman Dan Kildee says the U-S is working to bring Hekmati home – however he doesn’t think the U-S, as it negotiates, should set a precedent that a country can capture someone and hold them until they get what they want.
