A combined trial has been set for two suspects allegedly involved in an armed robbery this past summer. Donavan Waupoose was scheduled to have a trial at the end of the month, but this week’s motion hearing in Baraga County Circuit Court changed all that. Waupoose will now stand alongside Bernard Fish in a combined trial. The pair faces a number of charges, including extortion, unlawful imprisonment, and impersonating a peace officer to commit a crime. Waupoose and Fish both pled not guilty to the charges. They allegedly robbed two Watton residents at gunpoint in August. Their trial is scheduled for April 14 and is expected to last four days.
