Michigan Lottery players purchased more than $13 million in Club Keno tickets last week, an all-time high for the popular game.
Player purchases from March 3 to March 9 surpassed the previous record by more than $1 million. During that time period, players won nearly $9 million playing Club Keno.
Lottery officials say the Doubler Days promotion that launched on March 3 contributed to strong player interest in the Club Keno game.
During Doubler Days, a “Doubler” message will be printed on random Club Keno tickets. That means all prizes won on that ticket will be doubled. The Doubler Days promotion runs through April 2.
One of the Lottery’s most popular games, Club Keno players select up to 10 numbers to match from one to 80, with prize amounts determined based on the amount the player wagered. Drawings take place every three and a half minutes.
