Civil charges will be announced this morning regarding the water contamination crisis in Flint.
A team of special investigators, including Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette, will hold a news conference in Flint to give details of the lawsuit.
Previously, two state environmental regulators and a Flint water employee were charged criminally.
In 2014, Flint’s drinking water was switched from a Detroit system to the Flint River, but without proper treatment the pipes became corrosive, leading to dangerous lead levels in some of the city’s children.
