Today in circuit court, former Houghton High School hockey volunteer Brad Aldrich is expected to be sentenced on charges of fourth degree criminal sexual conduct. He pled guilty to the charge as part of a plea deal which allowed a second charge of third degree CSC to be dismissed. Fourth degree CSC carries a maximum two-year jail sentence. Also due in court is Nima Nassiri, the 34-year-old Dollar Bay man who is accused of second degree murder for the alledged assault on his wife a month ago. He will be arraigned on his charges, which carry a life sentence.
