Oktoberfest is in full swing in Munich, Germany, and the world famous festival will finish up soon. And South range will join the fun throwing their, own little Oktoberfest, before the German festival ends October third. Next weekend on October 1st, downtown South Range will fill with fun times in the nearby Veteran’s Park, a classic car show, and more. And of course the festival will include German specialty foods.
“We’re serving excellent German style food. We’ll have bratwursts, sauerkraut, and German potato salad. We’re haveing event for kids, including a bouncy-house. UPPCO and firemen demonstrations also for the kids.” – Mike Rainier, South Range 4th of July Committee
At the Veteran’s Park UPPCO will provide a safety day for kids. As will the South Range Fire Department. And live music will start at 3 pm.
