Two drug suspects in Houghton County will no longer have their cases heard in Circuit Court.
According to the Houghton County Prosecutor’s Office, the charges against 35-year-old Corrie Ruth of Flint and 43-year-old Damon Belcher of Detroit have been dismissed without prejudice.
The two are now under federal authority and federally incarcerated.
Ruth and Belcher were originally charged with four counts of delivery or manufacture of a controlled substance after being arrested at a residence in Lake Linden in mid-November.
Detectives seized over ten thousand dollars worth of heroin and cocaine while executing the search warrant that led to the arrests.
