CCISD Construction Technology Program Auctioning a Second Sauna

CCISD Construction Technology Students may have found a great fit for fundraising efforts. During the recent National Sauna Week celebration in Hancock, the CCISD CTE program auctioned a student-built sauna. The fundraiser and project taught the students important construction and business skills. Since then the students started on a second sauna that will open for auction that will close next week. The sauna features a spacious area inside with an approximately 7-foot tall ceiling, black asphalt roofing, and Cedar paneling and benches. The minimum bid for the project will start at 9,500 dollars. The CCISD will accept auction bids until next Friday, May 24th. The sauna must be picked up by May 31st. The silent auction will conclude at noon on Friday, May 24, 2024. The sauna must be moved by the end of the day on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the winning bidder’s expense and arrangements.
