Casperson Responds To Capitol View Project Objections

Democrats in Lansing continue to rail against majority Republicans for moving the Senate offices into a new building.

They say the move was unnecessary and expensive, with State Representative Scott Dianda calling the whole situation a “boondoggle”.

Democrats also charge that the offices are home to registered lobbyists and is owned by a political contributor to the Republican Party.

State Senator Tom Casperson voted against the Capitol View project, but he believes Democrats are trying to make this a political issue.

Dianda has called upon the Attorney General to investigate the rental of the new offices.
