Case Against L”Anse Business Owner Delayed

The case of a business owner arrested on marijuana charges continues in Baraga County District Court.

55-year old Dan Grandy of L’Anse was scheduled for a preliminary exam Tuesday.

That exam was adjourned, and it will continue in two weeks.

Grandy is charged with three counts of delivery or manufacture of marijuana and one count of maintaining a drug house.

He was arrested mid-September by UPSET detectives after they executed a search warrant at the Superior Relief Provision Center in L’Anse.

Detectives say Grandy is the owner and operator of that facility.
