Carnegie Plans “Night at the Museum”

The Carnegie Museum will hold its biggest annual membership event Saturday evening. Doors for the “Night at the Museum” will be open from 5:00 until 8:00. Musical performers will include the Backroom Boys, the PasiCats, and Seth Helman. Brats will be served, along with samples of locally-produced beer and mead. Museum Director Elise Nelson says the entrance fee includes the evening activities, and a one-year membership. “It’s a $25.00 admission for one person,” Nelson said. “That’s the same as a one-year membership. You get the good feeling of supporting the museum, and a discount on any fee-paid events we have. A $60.00 admission admits two people, and includes a ticket to one of our guided tours in the summer.” Current exhibits at the museum include a look at the “Making of Modern Houghton.”
