A two vehicle crash in Franklin Township sent both drivers to the hospital.
The accident happened Thursday around 2:30pm on US-41 near the Sunshine Road.
The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office says a vehicle driven by a 79-year-old Painesdale woman was trying to make a left turn onto the highway when she pulled out in front of a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Houghton woman who was traveling north bound.
Both drivers were taken to U.P. Health System—Portage where they were treated for their injuries.
Two young children in the Houghton woman’s vehicle were uninjured.
The condition of the drivers were not reported.
