The candidates in this upcoming November election will be making some stops throughout the Copper Country and one of those stops is to talk with the League of Women Voters. This Friday, the league is holding a forum for the candidates to discuss many topics including early childhood issues and K-12 funding. Among the attendees will be the candidates from the two contested races for Houghton County Commissioner seats: Rick Kasprzak, Eugene Londo, Anton Pintar and Mark Kemppainen. Also expected to attend are Representative Scott Dianda, Senator Tom Casperson and his opponent Christopher Germain. Dianda’s opponent, Bob Micheals, declined to attend. The event will take place at the Hancock Middle School auditorium at 5:30 p.m.
