This weekend is the Calumet Colosseum Centennial Celebration and it will feature several games with some of the best youth hockey teams, including two high school games. All leading up to the centennial game on Monday between the Calumet Wolverines and the Portage Lake Pioneers. So what makes this game so special? The first game played at the Colosseum was 100 years ago and it featured these two teams. Local hockey historian Bob Erkkila says much has changed since those days. The centennial game will be broadcasted live on K-Bear 102 and kbear102.com.
