Calumet Controller Honored by MML

A special honor was bestowed upon a local village official. Calumet Controller Susan Dana was given the 2014 Special Award of Merit from the Michigan Municipal League. She received the award during the League’s Annual Convention last week. Dana has been the comptroller for Calumet since 1986, and will be retiring this year. While serving her 29 years, she has served as the U.P.’s region 7 officer on several different occasions. Each year, the Michigan Municipal League recognizes and honors a select few individuals with Special Awards of Merit for outstanding contributions to Michigan communities.
