Breakfast Fundraiser in Hubbell for VFW’s Honor Roll

The Copper Ingot VFW post 4624  in Hubbell is hosting a breakfast fundraiser this Saturday, April 1 from 7:30 – 11:30am.

Shannon from Shannon’s Home Cooking will be cooking for the event. Tickets are sold at the door. Adults are $12, children ages 6-12 are $8, and kids under 6 are free.

All proceeds will go towards the project focusing on constructing a honor roll . Commander Frank Ozanich estimated the honor roll has been taken down since the 1970s.

There has been extensive research being done to put together the names from the past. It’s estimated they currently have about 300 names that can go on the honor roll right away, and can have a maximum of one thousand names.

Engraved pavers will also be placed in front of the honor roll, dedicated to a person of your choosing. Pavers are $50 for an inscription of your choice.
